Follow up could be the first Android Silver
device
The first details of the rumoured LG G Flex 2
emerged over the weekend via notorious leaker
Evan Blass, otherwise known as @evleaks .
According to Blass, the handset will be one of
the first Android Silver devices.
Android Silver is currently positioned to replace
the Google Nexus range, which the search
engine giant uses to push pure Android out into
the market.
It is possible that both the LG G Flex 2 and the
first Android Silver handset are one and the
same. Chances are we’ll find out a little closer
to the time.
Both LG and Samsung raced at the tail end of
the last year to launch the first curved
smartphone.
The original LG G Flex scored in the middle of
the road, and we loved the design and OLED
display, but were equally being turned off by its
size and boring design.
One of the most likely upgrades we’ll see in the
LG G Flex 2 is an upgrade to its 720p display
and possibly (we hope) a reduction in its size.
